Teddy Hodgdon competes in the Tour-Type Modified ranks in New England.
Hodgdon picked up his first career Tour-Type win at Stafford Motor Speedway in the NAPA Auto Parts Duel race in April of 2024, and followed it up with his first career Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series win at Seekonk Speedway on June 27, a race that earned the team a $20,000 top prize.
Hodgdon also competes part-time in the SK Modified division at Stafford Motor Speedway.

Hodgdon is no stranger to winning. When he started his career, Hodgdon quickly found success competing at Stafford, just not on the half-mile. Hodgdon competed on the small mini-oval on the frontstretch, winning in the Wild Thing Karts during his time there from 2008-2013. He was crowned the 2011 Stafford & Twin State Tiger Sprint A Champion and collected various wins.
In 2014, Teddy made the move to the INEX Legends Cars division, where he competed for three years, winning various events. In 2016, he won three times over 11 starts, and finished in the top-five in all of his races. In 2017, he won the Legends Cars Semi-Pro World Championship. He also won the Most Popular Driver twice during his tenure in the Legends Cars.
From Legends, Hodgdon moved up to Stafford’s Division III SK Light Modifieds in 2018 — just one step down from the SK class in the Modified world. Hodgdon picked up one victory in his rookie season — one that included 16 top-10 finishes in 21 starts. One year later, he broke out for glory. Hodgdon won the track title in 2019 — his first at the half-mile — capturing five victories over 20 events and proving he was the real deal, finishing in the top-10 in all but five events. One year later, he made the move.
Hodgdon now has two seasons of SK Modified racing under his belt — 2020 and 2021 — and the 2020 season included him earning the SK Modified Rookie of the Year honors with two top-five finishes. In 2021, it wasn’t the year he was looking for. A mix of bad luck damaged the No. 55 often, and Hodgdon found himself limping to the finish of the year. But, that won’t slow him down. He’s excited to make big moves in 2022 and compete at a high-level in a tough division.
Over his Stafford career, Hodgdon has 47 wins between all of the divisions. He will be looking for his first career win in the SK Modifieds in 2022, while also planning to race for the championship. Getting his feet wet in the Open Modified ranks will be important towards his future.
Outside of Stafford, Hodgdon does have one career SK Light Modified win at Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park.
